Website design, logo design & branding for a women’s business coach

Counter Culture project for a business coach

Looking for a business coach website design that drives enquiries and showcases your brand?

This project focused on a coaching company, Counter Culture, founded by Kathy Coleman, dedicated to empowering women in the workplace.

The goal was to create a strong, cohesive brand and website that clearly communicates her mission, attracts the right clients, and builds lasting impact.

Kathy says:

“Those double standards that say things like we need to be confident but then aren't very ‘nice’ if we are… Hence the name Counter Culture.”

The challenge

Counter Culture had a strong vision of empowering women and providing them with the tools and support needed to thrive professionally. However, their existing branding and website did not accurately convey this message. The outdated logo lacked visual appeal and failed to represent the company's core values and aspirations. Additionally, their website had an outdated design, lacked user-friendly features, and did not effectively showcase the company's new services.

Objectives

  • Develop a compelling and visually appealing brand identity

  • Create a modern, user-friendly website

  • Establish a consistent and credible brand presence

Our approach

1. Brand Strategy & Positioning

Defined the target audience and clarified key differentiators, focusing on the needs and challenges faced by women in the workplace.

2. Brand Identity & Messaging

Developed a brand personality and messaging that clearly communicates the mission and resonates with the target audience.

3. Logo Design & Brand Assets

  • Created a branding board using colour psychology and imagery

  • Explored multiple logo concepts

  • Finalised a distinctive, empowering visual identity

  • Developed supporting brand assets and patterns

4. Supporting Materials

Designed PowerPoint templates and branded materials to ensure consistency across all touchpoints.

5. Website Design

  • Redesigned site structure and navigation

  • Created a visually engaging, on-brand website

  • Integrated professional photography

  • Ensured full mobile responsiveness

Results

  • A clear, confident, and recognisable brand identity

  • A modern, user-friendly coaching website

  • Improved engagement and ease of navigation

  • Stronger credibility and trust with potential clients

  • A consistent brand presence across all touchpoints

Conclusion

Through a comprehensive branding and website transformation, Counter Culture repositioned itself as a trusted authority in the coaching space.

The new brand and website now clearly communicate its mission and support its growth.

Need a website or branding that actually works for your business?

Let’s chat about your project

“It has been amazing working with you Vicki. You took time to understand me and my business - especially the fact that I am passionate about helping women to recognise and challenge the stereotypes and biases that affect them in the corporate world.

Those double standards that say things like we need to be confident but then aren't very "nice" if we are. It makes us doubt ourselves and hide behind a set of behaviours that aren't really us - and we are unhappy. Hence the name Counter Culture!

Your time and attention means I have ended up with a brand that reflects what my company stands for: positively rebellious, wanting to change women's experience of the workplace, supportive and empowering with a basis in experience and evidence and a little bit of magic thrown in there too.”
